It broke through my chest today…
I’m still not sure what.
But I think I am dead
Or maybe just sad
If I let this pain go
Will it fly away and
Burn in the sun
Or just float above me till
I am gone…
Will I feel this way forever
Or until I find a new anchor
Tell me now I want answers
I might go crazy the pain
It feels like my chest is being
Crushed…
They said a broken heart stings
But mine feels like its been crushed
Smashed and blown into the wind
Maybe its just me I am a freak
that’s what I say
I think I will just keep walking
And let everything pop in the sun
Maybe then I can truly feel good
But I will never know…
